- Arrange product deliveries and material pickups, single and multiple stops; choose motor carrier according to the most cost-effective arrangement and establish routes for outbound and inbound shipments.
- Using company software and computer systems to build shipments and create bills of lading.
- Confer with sales to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise.
- Communicate with facilities, customers, and vendors to correct discrepancies, arrange for special equipment, and direct driver activities.
- Enter vendor information to set up new venders and maintain vendor information.
- High School diploma or equivalent. (some college preferred)
- One year of related work experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
