    The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring patients have a top-notch experience and supports the smooth running of the prosthetics and/or orthotics medical practice.

    • Greet and register patients
    • Compile thorough chart documentation
    • Support clinical and technical staff
    • Maintain an organized and tidy office and treatment rooms

    Essential Functions:

    • Answer phones and assist callers
    • Schedule appointments and update patient information
    • Obtain and scan necessary documentation
    • Maintain accurate patient records
    • Verify insurance benefits and collect payments
    • Ensure a clean and safe environment
    • Take patient measurements and review medical history
    • Provide administrative and marketing support

    Competencies:

    • Communication and Computer Proficiency
    • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-2 years of medical office experience with EMR systems
    • Healthcare industry experience

    This role involves various physical tasks and regular communication.
