- Implement, and manage a variety of CALL placements with our university partners.
- Provide direct support to students, including information and guidance about requirements of specific placements; proper work habits; and techniques for success, including appropriate dress, preparing resumes, and interviewing strategies.
- Connect students to placements by facilitating interviews, matching students to sites by interest and qualifications, and assisting with scheduling.
- Coordinate with the First Year Experience Program and the Sophomore Year Program.
- Liaison with university partnerships on placement feedback.
- Track students and placements.
- Participate on campus committees as directed.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekend hours as needed.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher).
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience of full-time relevant and/or related work experience in higher education, community service organizations or related field. (Experience includes working with college students of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation and/or learning abilities.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills. Ability to train, advance and promote innovative ideas to reach and academically engage historically underrepresented students or students of color and other underserved student populations, for a learning environment inclusive of equity, diversity, social justice, and inclusion relative to academic success.
- Proficient in MS Suite.
- Experience with higher education student databases/systems.
- Experience working with a culturally diverse population.
- Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
- A Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher).
- Experience working with first generation students.
- Bilingual.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in community partnership building.
- Experience with Ellucian Banner, EAB Navigate, volunteer management software.

Job Description:The primary purpose of the position is to develop, coordinate and track student placements in our Community Action Learning and Leadership Program (CALL). Position will also assist with placements in the Sophomore Experience Program.
This is a full-time, twelve (12) month, two (2) year, grant funded position.
Reporting to the Director of the Community Action, Learning and Leadership Program, the Student Placement Specialist will:
