- Lead all product design and development efforts, taking into consideration all relevant standards and codes.
- Ensure all engineering efforts balances outcomes related to safety, reliability, cost and quality.
- Understand and translate customer and market requirements to product design.
- Support sales and estimation teams to develop better proposals.
- Support sales and marketing efforts with relevant information as required.
- Evaluate competitive landscape and shape product design and development to have best in class products in the industry.
- Build the best engineering team in the industry by adopting best practices, tools and processes.
- Support organization wide strategic initiatives.
- Engineering degree with an MBA will be advantageous.
- At least 5- 7 years of experience in solar eBOS systems or related industries.
- Sound knowledge of Engineering best practices and standards
- Familiarity with sales, estimation and business development processes
- People management and Team leadership skills

Role description:
The Engineering leader is a strategic role within the organization supporting the growth and innovation at WTEC. The role will be responsible to lead a team of engineers transforming innovative ideas into reality with strong engineering and leadership skills.
