The School District of Milton is seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual to teach High School
Digital Media and

Video Production courses. This position will begin August 2024. Come join our team in educating and guiding our

students to success in the future

This Digital Media educator will have the opportunity to teach in a brand new, uniquely designed, Digital Media Studio

as part of a new 32,000 square feet STEM addition to Milton High School, boasting innovative learning spaces in the

areas of Science, Math, Technology Education, Agricultural Science, Robotics, Computer Science and Engineering.

The Digital Media lab consists of 26 student machines (2023 iMacs), a teacher workstation (2023 Mac Studio), and two

75" displays. The studio is a creative space for video production, broadcasting, and live streaming. In addition to
cinema and documentary style cameras, the studio is outfitted for lighting, audio, green screen, and has a director's room.
An additional production space is adjacent to the field house. The School District of Milton is committed to utilizing this

new modern space to prepare students to be innovative, creative, and positive producers of digital content in the future.

A competitive starting salary of $47, starting salary) is offered for a 190-day contract for individuals that

public education and additional education beyond a bachelor's degree. A competitive benefits package is also included.

Also available at Milton High School is the Red Hawk Media Advisor position. Red Hawk Media is the student club

associated with the Digital Media and Video production courses. This position has a competitive stipend attached for

assisting with after school productions of Milton High School events.


Qualifications:

should be organized, flexible, have strong communication skills, and the ability to work with all students. They will be

creative process with a penchant for learning technology and media. They will possess a strong ability to help

students excel in a project-based program that encourages students to be creative and develop critical thinking skills as

students within and outside of the classroom by creating a learning program that evolves with students and technology.

It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in one of the following areas and have

the appropriate position code for 9th through 12th grade students:
