Payroll Manager - Boston, United States - UG2
Description
ThePayroll Manager is responsible for processing weekly payroll, maintaining employee data, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll.
- Audit payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage new hires, employee changes, and termination payouts.
- Enter direct deposit information, adjustments, and deductions.
- Report stop payments/reissues.
- Set up and distribute Wisely cards.
- Provide labor reports to operations.
- Manage weekly audit trails.
- Review PTO used for final pay.
- Maintain payroll time sheets and Epay contact list access.
- Offer customer service support for payroll and time attendance issues.
- Complete payroll and nonpayroll related projects as needed.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent required.
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of payrollrelated experience.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ADP WFN, WFM, UKG, Vantage.
- Knowledge of multistate wage and hour laws.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor compliance laws.
- Associates or technical degree preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Officebased role with occasional site visits.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, and walking.
