    How will you make a difference

    If you are passionate about Payroll & Benefits, Insurify is looking for an experienced professional to establish and oversee payroll and benefits administration for our 100+ employees in the U.S. This is an exciting time to join our team as we consolidate these functions under the People & Culture team in a newly created role. Concentrating on these areas will enhance our ability to serve our employees more efficiently. Reporting to the Global Head of People & Culture, your role will involve assessing current processes, researching new initiatives, and recommending improvements. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude towards HR and a drive for excellence.

    Main focus areas:

    • Payroll - Managing end-to-end payroll processes for 100 U.S. employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
    • Benefit Management & Strategy - Overseeing health, wellness, and financial benefits to optimize competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. Building strong relationships with vendors for optimal pricing of benefit programs.
    • Leave of Absences - Administering LOAs to comply with regulations and advising on benefit policies. Staying updated on legislation changes affecting employee benefits.
    • Continuous Improvement - Enhancing internal processes, collaborating with People & Culture for policy implementation, and maintaining internal controls.
    • Communication - Developing a comprehensive communication strategy for employees to understand their benefits and compensation packages.
    • Reporting & Data Management - Ensuring data accuracy and supporting reporting needs with key stakeholders.

    Who we are looking for

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
    • 4+ years of payroll management and 2+ years of benefits management experience
    • Fluency in English (knowledge of Bulgarian is a plus)

    Additional Skills/Experience:

    • Ability to work from our Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week
    • Track record of implementing tools and processes with tangible results
    • Experience in start-up environments or employee-centric companies
    • Proficiency in HRIS, benefits programs, and regulatory awareness
    • Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and state payroll tax issues
    • Strong communication and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
    • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
    • Proactive and effective in communication and analysis
