    Operations Manager at Unlayer (United States)

    • This is a multi-faceted role that covers various functions within the company.
    • We are seeking an Operations Manager to play a crucial role in our business operations.
    • You will collaborate with different departments such as Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to establish essential business processes.
    • You will have full ownership, ensuring smooth execution and driving key business metrics.

    About the Position:

    • This position offers high visibility, impact, and autonomy, with opportunities for rapid growth and increased responsibilities.
    • Your duties will involve enhancing efficiency, performance, productivity, and profitability through effective strategies.

    About You:

    • You possess a sharp attention to detail and a curiosity to learn about all aspects of a startup.
    • You excel in bringing structure to organizations and are adept at setting and meeting deadlines.
    • You have familiarity with financial compliance, including sales tax, and experience in accounting or startup operations.
    • Experience with software tools like Gusto and Deel is advantageous.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive various operational processes in the company, including analytics, finance, hiring, and product management.
    • Oversee HR, payroll, and compliance for a remote team spanning multiple countries.
    • Manage finance, budgeting, and forecasting, along with conducting financial audits.
    • Analyze and optimize company and departmental KPIs.
    • Produce accurate reports on KPIs and handle day-to-day people-related tasks such as payroll.
    • Assist in setting clear organizational goals and communicate with external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the team to address priority needs and ensure consistent tool usage across the organization.
    • Ensure operational compliance with quality standards and specifications.
    • Work on special projects and provide overall support to the Executive team.

    As a significant early hire in Business Operations, we are looking for individuals who can exceed expectations, meet project deadlines, and demonstrate expertise in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
