- Follows the occurrence reporting policy and procedure in reporting any potential safety issues
- Demonstrates the ability to complete psycho social within one hour of client admitting to the Crisis Residential Facility.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate with outside resources and identify appropriate placement for each client
- Demonstrates understanding of the Crisis Residential Facility's program; solution focused care and completes the client safety plan with them prior to discharge
- Demonstrates the ability to chart legibly and accurately in the clients chart at least every four hours or when necessary
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize clients that are escalating and use de-escalation techniques to avoid the use of seclusion and restraints.

Job DescriptionCrisis Residential Facility in Rancho Mirage, CA is looking to hire Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem Therapists (8-hour shifts)
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for Synergy Estate roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay at Synergy Estate in good faith believing it pays for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a licensed MFT, Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor or Psychologist or have an intern number registered with the Board of Behavioral Services or a Psych Assistant number registered with the Board of Psychology. Prefer 2 years of clinical experience working with seriously mentally ill and/or developmentally disabled and/or substance abuse clients. Effective written and verbal communication in English. Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and medical record charting basics. Good group facilitation skills and experience preferred. Must complete CPR/First Aid required. MAB requirements within 90 days of hire.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent walking, standing, bending and reaching. Lifting up to 25 pounds. Pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to participate in takedowns. Corrected vision and hearing to a normal range. Finger dexterity. Frequent exposure to stressful situations. Constant public and patient contact.
