    • Location: US, with headquarters for corporate R&D and Americas R&D regional hub

    The Research, Development, & Innovation Scientist will be involved in crucial research and exploration tasks at our Metal Processing Fluids main laboratory.

    The ideal candidate will collaborate with the global technical community to explore cutting-edge technologies, new formulas, raw materials, and processing methods to develop exceptional products.

    Responsibilities also include driving innovation by utilizing computational science, collaborating with the Applied Science team for creating new bench tests, and shaping a product portfolio with a focus on sustainability.

    • Manage multiple projects and report on technical matters
    • Lead new product and process development projects
    • Work closely with Product Management to ensure alignment with Business Plans
    • Engage in a high-performance work environment that values discovery and continuous learning
    • Participate in global collaborations and key working groups
    • Contribute to budgeting and resource allocation

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience (PhD preferred)
    • Experience in water-based or oil-based lubricant technologies and tribological characterization
    • Knowledge of chemistry, surfactants, and dispersion technologies
    • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and project management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
