YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As a Market Manager, you will guide your market to deliver sales goals and objectives within territory and key customer accounts with excellence.

As a Market Manager you will gain exposure to different elements of the sales and marketing organization in order to develop and execute customer strategies and business plans.

You will also maintain an account list of top influential accounts in your market and deliver KPI goals. You will be based in San Francisco, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally utilizing Bacardi resources and distributor partnerships to achieve maximize performance and sales efforts by achieving increased volumes while building long lasting business opportunities in your market and account universe.
  • Development and strengthening relationships with key customer accounts to develop customer strategies and plans that translate into "win/win" scenarios through impactful presentations and evaluating return on investments.
  • Provide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.
  • Engage with Regional Director and Human Resources to hire and develop successful primos through engaging Let's Talk discussions on specific primo performance feedback evaluating against sales forecasts and KPI goals and provide guidance in achieving career goals.
  • Oversee all On Premise Activations in your market
  • Collaboration and Coordination with Distributor, Advocacy Managers and Brand Marketing
  • Responsible for reviewing overall market performance including Rate of Sale drivers, activations, executions.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or related field required
  • Ideally 3 years of sales experiences preferably in the spirits or beverage industry and 2 years of on/off premise experience preferred
  • You have an understanding of the on and off premise business and the critical business factors that drive and impact customer's business decisions.
  • By living a Founder's mentality, you are a leader and owner of your market passionate about driving business results.
  • You are influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, Bacardi primos, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.
  • You are computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
