- Provide overall leadership to the plant HR department, training, and EHS functions.
- Establish and implement strategic improvements to address employee retention, training & development, safety, and employee relations.
- Oversee HR-related initiatives and metrics aligned with company and plant objectives and values.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes.
- Oversee performance management and talent development processes.
- Oversee compliance with organizational policies and all applicable federal/state laws. Represent the organization in employment hearings and investigations.
- Manage Leaves of Absence administration, including STD, FMLA, ADA, and Worker's Compensation.
- BS In Human Resources from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5 years of Leadership experience in Human Resources and Safety. Experience in a Manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- SHRM SCP certification preferred.
- Knowledge and experience interpreting Federal and State employment law, benefits, discipline, hiring practices, and worker's compensation regulations.
