- Operate imaging equipment, such as scanners and digital cameras, to accurately scan and digitize documents, photographs, and other materials.
- Use imaging software to enhance, edit, and manipulate scanned images as needed, ensuring clarity, readability, and compliance with quality standards.
- Organize scanned documents and images into electronic files and folders according to established naming conventions, categorization criteria, and indexing systems.
- Enter metadata, keywords, and other relevant information into document management systems or databases to facilitate search and retrieval of scanned materials.
- Perform quality checks on scanned images to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specified standards, identifying and rectifying any errors or discrepancies.
- Assist in the maintenance and management of electronic document repositories, including file storage, version control, and archival processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments or external clients to prioritize scanning requests, track job progress, and ensure timely delivery of scanned materials.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for imaging equipment and software, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Adhere to privacy, security, and regulatory requirements governing the handling and processing of sensitive documents and images, maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using imaging equipment, software, and tools, with demonstrated experience in document scanning and image processing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing scanning and data entry tasks.
- Familiarity with document management systems, databases, and file organization principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and convey information accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to established procedures and guidelines.
