    Position Summary


    The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in consulting, sourcing and recruiting of senior level and hard to fill positions.

    This role will strategically navigate complex offer negotiations by working with leaders and stakeholders to develop creative offer solutions and ensure a white glove, best-in-class candidate experience.

    This role demonstrates a "talent hunter" mentality in sourcing, engaging, and maintaining diverse pipelines by marketing Xcel Energy as an employer of choice while developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that reflect an expert understanding of the business and market.

    The Senior Recruiter will cultivate deep internal and external relationships and provide advanced consultation and white glove experience to ensure best-in-class candidate and hiring leader experience while embedding brand and Diversity & Inclusion into every step of the recruiting process.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Strategic Sourcing:
    Research and develop diverse talent pipelines based on anticipated needs and guidance from business leaders. Initiate and sustain strategic, multi-channel conversations with external audiences to drive to passive and engaged candidates to Xcel Energy. Network and build long-lasting stakeholder relationships.

    Business Relationships:
    Create

    deep relationships

    and

    integrate with business areas

    to be a consultative partner. Provide

    expert

    consultation that demonstrates knowledge of the business and understanding of the talent market.

    Recruitment Strategy:
    Develop and implement

    recruiting strategies and plans. Utilize data and analytics to measure success and pivot as needed to improve productivity and cost effectiveness.

    Recruitment:
    Accountable for full life cycle recruitment, including

    management of senior level

    requisitions requiring

    complex offer packages and strategic negotiations.

    Effectively partner with stakeholders and utilize

    advanced

    sourcing techniques. Clearly define and drive tactics and timeline for sourcing, service, assessment, selection. Partner with team and stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of service to the customer internal and external.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to develop best practices and foster idea generation to drive continuous improvement efforts. Support the team in learning, education of TA practices and process knowledge with the TA organization. Assist in coordinating Xcel Energy TA programs, and other duties as assigned.

    Analytics:


    Utilize data tools and metrics to track and drive actions to improve candidate and hiring leader experience, service standards, and personal performance.

    Pivot as needed to improve productivity and cost effectiveness.
    Minimum Requirements
    BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or a combination of education and experience).

    5-7 years experience in full cycle recruitment (direct sourcing, corporate recruitment) including consultative partnership with business leaders to define talent needs.

    Ability to travel occasionally and commute to events and company locations as needed.
    Direct sourcing / recruiting experience, which includes some experience recruiting in a corporate setting is preferred.
    Experience developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies (including diversity recruitment).
    Demonstrated knowledge of EEO and Affirmative Action. Knowledge of employment law.
    Demonstrated utilization of TA metrics and how they influence each level of the recruiting funnel.

    Non-Bargaining
    The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $79,000.00 to $112,999.00 per year
    This position may also be eligible for the following benefits and/or pay components: Pay - Annual Incentive Program, Medical/Pharmacy Plan, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, Health Care Reimbursement Account, Health Savings Account (HSA) (if enrolled in eligible health plan), Limited-Purpose FSA (if enrolled in eligible health plan and HSA), Transportation Reimbursement Account, Short-term disability (STD), Long-term disability (LTD), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Fitness Center Reimbursement (if enrolled in eligible health plan), Tuition reimbursement, Transit programs, Employee recognition program, Pension, 401(k) plan, Paid time off (PTO), Holidays, Personal holidays, Volunteer Paid Time Off (VPTO) (full-time employees only), Parental Leave
    Pay and benefit packages may vary based on position. Some employees are under collective bargaining agreements, which determine the benefits they will receive.
