We are partnering with a local family-owned organization to find their first-ever Supply Chain Manager. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and direct complex procurement and material processes from the initial proposal efforts through the delivery of the end product, ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations. The Supply Chain Manager will be required to work 100% On-Site in Portland, OR.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop procurement strategies and oversee all procurement and material planning activities
Implement cost-reduction activities and manage risk within the supply chain
Monitor marketplace changes and plan tactics and strategies for negotiations of subcontracts
Lead and direct work for a team of employees, managing staff selection, performance, development, and training

Qualifications:

7-10 years of manufacturing experience required
Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Excellent facilitation and project management skills
Knowledge of procurement best practices and experience managing tight deadlines in an aerospace/manufacturing environment
Understanding of contracts, compliance, and government laws relating to procurement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
