Product Marketing Manager - San Francisco, United States - Vanta

    Default job background
    Description

As a motivated Product Marketing Manager, you'll drive product success through activating strategic partnerships, collaborating with product management, marketing, sales, and business development to execute effective positioning and marketing strategies within partner ecosystems.

You'll lead the marketing journey, including messaging, competitive analysis, field enablement, and external communications.
At Vanta, our mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data.

We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease.

Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.

Vanta's Product Marketing team helps bring this vision to life by defining the new category of trust management, shaping Vanta's positioning and differentiators externally, and influencing our product and business roadmap.

We sit at the intersection of Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Product, and Customer Success and revel in connecting all of these teams to drive the business forward.

Research, analysis, curiosity, storytelling, and project management are just a few of the attributes of our team–in addition to being open, empathetic, and genuinely nice people.

Joining our team offers the unique opportunity to shape the success of our products through strategic partnerships. You'll work alongside talented professionals in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and creative thinking.
What you'll do as a Product Marketing Manager at Vanta:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, identify key partners, build relationships, and craft joint marketing strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to create compelling marketing collateral, including co-branded materials, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and presentations showcasing product value within channel partnerships.

Lead go-to-market strategies for product offerings, defining target personas, messaging, and positioning that align with overall marketing goals.
Create go-to-market plans, execute campaigns, and develop marketing assets (e.g., website, presentations, datasheets, blogs, and social plans).
Equip sales teams with the tools for effective positioning and selling of joint products.
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success and impact of marketing initiatives, regularly analyzing and optimizing performance.
Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and partnership opportunities, refining strategies and identifying collaboration prospects.
Coordinate and engage in events like conferences, webinars, and trade shows, representing our company and products.
Work closely with product management to influence the product roadmap based on partner input.
Collaborate with business development teams to identify and onboard new partners.

How to be successful in this role:7+ years of experience in product marketing, partnership management, or a related role in B2B SaaS technology company.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proven track record of successfully marketing products in collaboration with channel partners.
Strong grasp of B2B marketing strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Skilled in prioritizing, creative problem-solving, and multitasking within a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace.
Experience creatively solving partner challenges, and using data to inform business decisions.
Demonstrated ability in setting goals, developing opportunities, and providing reporting to identify trends and improve partner performance.
Willingness to travel for partner meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed.

What you can expect as a Vantan:
    Industry-Competitive Salary and Equity
100% covered Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits with Dependents' Coverage
16 Weeks Fully Paid Parental Leave for All New Parents (Moms, Dads, Adoptive, Foster)
    Health & Wellness Stipend
    Remote Workspace Stipend
    401(k) Matching Plan
    Flexible Work Hours and Location
    Open & Encouraged PTO Policy
    9 Company Paid Holidays
Free Memberships to Online Wellness Platforms (One Medical, Ginger, Headspace, and more)
Virtual Team Building Activities, Lunch and Learns, and other Company-Wide Events
Offices in SF and NYC with Hubs of Vantans forming across the US, including but not limited to, Seattle, Austin, Indianapolis, LA, Boston, and more
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.

We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is $158,000 - $186,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.

At Vanta, we are committed to hiring diverse talent of different backgrounds and as such, it is important to us to provide an inclusive work environment for all.

As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage and welcome people of all backgrounds to apply.
    About Vanta
We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches.

Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation.

Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security.

From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.

Now more than ever, making security continuous—not just a point-in-time check— is essential.

Thousands of companies rely on Vanta to build, maintain and demonstrate their trust— all in a way that's real-time and transparent.
