We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to play a key role in our company.

This opportunity will allow you to use your creativity and innovation in the continued growth of our energy efficiency practice.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, audit and sell energy efficient lighting, transformer, VFDs/motors and mechanical improvements, among others to current and prospective clients.
  • Utilize existing relationships to strategically develop opportunities for sales activities and company growth.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
  • Conducting onsite energy assessments, quoting energy efficient lighting solutions and winning the business.
  • Assist with preparing proposals and sales quotes.
  • Conduct accurate and complete lighting assessments by collecting existing data to recommend the proper energy efficient measures and generating a detailed proposal based on findings.
  • Travel to projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (Masters' degree preferred) in Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of energy sales and marketing experience including Design Build, ESCO, ESPC, energy audits, energy monitoring, engineering, demand side management, solar, biomass and/or renewable technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in lighting retrofit, energy efficiency, or similar fields.
  • Indepth knowledge of energy efficiency.
  • Proven ability of expanding client base through identifying sales leads and customer energy needs.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other analytical software tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
  • Understanding of building efficiency/sustainability solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

$85,000.00 per year
