ACCOUNTING MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

Review plan expenses and oversee monthly closing procedures.
Prepare monthly financial reporting package with analysis and commentary.
Analyze manufacturing variations to propose cost-saving solutions and enhance financial performance.
Coordinate cost accounting activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Conduct monthly/quarterly closing activities, compile financial statements, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure accurate financial transaction recording and implement internal controls.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across material, labor, and overhead costs.
Assist in coordinating annual physical inventory or inventory cycle count program.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
ERP proficiency required
3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
