Our client, a leading property management company, is renowned for delivering exceptional services to property owners and tenants. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation, they have established themselves as a trusted industry leader.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their finance team and manage the accounting operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Supervise, guide, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate and assist with the annual budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local accounting and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role, with a track record of managing an accounting team.
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
