Our client located in Sandy Springs is seeking an Entry Level Payroll Clerk to join their growing organization

Direct-Hire, Permanent Position

Salary: $50-55K with Bonus

Location: Sandy Springs, GA

They are working a Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office/2 days WFH

Responsibilities

Process biweekly payroll
Process new hires, separated employees, increases, garnishments, direct deposits, advances, tax changes and various loans as approved.
Complete generations of payroll wage and hours, including overtime and part-time, from exception and overtime reports of all departments
Calculate vacation time to be paid out for term employees.
Export overtime and part-time hours into payroll system.
Update employees' job record and changes of employment status, as necessary.
Issue manual checks when needed.
Audit the sequence transaction report prior to transmission.
Prepare and transmit payroll.
Receive and translate files once payroll is processed.
Reconcile change notices against check register.

Requirements and skills

Bachelor's Degree preferred
1-2 years of Payroll experience preferred
Strong Excel experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $55,000.00 per year
