- The Records Management Specialist provides direct operational support to OA-wide electronic and non-electronic Federal records management in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records management best practices.
- Support the development, implementation, and enculturation of the organizational Knowledge Management framework, strategy, policies, process, and procedures.
- Create and maintain OA business information; conduct records scheduling; support records schedule implementation planning and execution; perform records asset and risk management; and support the maintenance of OA's Records Management Program.
- A bachelor's degree
- Experience performing records management across the records management lifecycle.
- 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.
- NARA Certification in Federal Records Management.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
