    The University of Utah Spencer F. Eccles School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Immunologist to join the Pediatric Immunology and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy Program.

    This role offers the chance to work in a supportive academic environment at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital (PCH).

    • The pediatric clinical immunologist will provide consultations and care for an expanding immunology program.
    • We are looking for someone who can actively participate in clinical and research projects related to inborn errors of immunity.
    • The selected candidate will serve as the Immunology liaison to the Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) and manage newborn screening programs in Utah.
    • Clinical activities will take place at Primary Children's Hospital and a companion campus in Lehi.
    • Opportunities include implementing clinical trials and collaborating with established cell therapy programs.

    The program focuses on areas such as immune and cellular therapies, gene therapy, rare immunodeficiencies, and stem cell transplants.

    Candidates with active basic science research programs will have access to lab facilities and start-up support.

    There is also a chance to contribute to the Immunity, Inflammation, and Infectious Diseases Initiative.

    The University of Utah emphasizes collaboration between clinical and basic researchers and has a strong focus on genetics and bioinformatics.

    In addition to clinical and research responsibilities, academic activities are encouraged, including education, administration, and advocacy.

    The Department of Pediatrics has a diverse range of clinical expertise, particularly in managing immune dysregulation-related conditions.

    Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Allergy/Immunology.

    The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at a level based on experience and qualifications.
