    Description

    Job Summary:

    The Director, Global Education and Artistry Programs will lead NARS Artists via the strategic development of innovative training programs to elevate artistry and selling/service skills while promoting long term development and retention for all global channels of distribution. This position operates in a team-oriented environment and works closely with Global Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Communications, Digital and e-Commerce to drive alignment and execution of all Education initiatives on a global basis.

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop and curate Seasonal and Basic training programs that bolster artistry, productivity and reinforce exceptional service for all global points of distribution, including Open-Sell (Sephora, Ulta, Space NK, Boots etc.), NARS FSS, Department Stores, and Travel Retail
    • Identify key methods to elevate and advance NARS artistry and engagement
    • Partnership with Global Marketing and Product Development on launches and initiatives to define product positioning and selling strategies
    • Consistent communication with Global Markets to ensure programs reflect regional needs

    Conceive, Develop and Write Training Programs

    • Design modern, interactive formats and workshops and training materials that communicate corporate objectives to drive new launch activity and propel core category growth
    • Collaborate with Education Digital Learning team to develop and enhance content and programming that reinforces the NARS artistry perspective and techniques
    • Seasonal Seminar: Create vision, concept and strategy including launch perspective and selling and service direction
    • In partnership with Executive Director of Global Education & Artistry, leverage NARS makeup artistry authority by adapting global trends into relevant workshops that translate the current, most requested makeup styles through the NARS lens
    • In partnership with Director, Digital Education, define content for seasonal NARS Report
    • New Hire Orientation and Basic Seminar: Update program and advance formats via progressive forums and interactive workshops
    • Deliver all training formats for global markets with direction for local adaptation

    Delivery and Measurement of Training Programs

    • Model ideal standard of presentation with each program
    • Establish interactive format to challenge and elevate Trainers' skills and delivery
    • Coach Trainers on presentation style to instill and insure consistent performance
    • Continuously research methodology to define and implement best practices

    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • 10+ years experience in Beauty and Global/Regional Education
    • Proven track record in design, execution and measurement of innovative education programs
    • Proficient in Social Media platforms with awareness of trends
    • Experience in adult learning techniques and generational styles
    • Exceptional communication skills (written/presentation)
    • Strong leader with flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
    • Superior attention to detail/highly organized
    • Solid coaching abilities
    • Energetic, highly motivational and dynamic personality
    • Equally strategic and creative
    • Exceptional artistry skills
    • Ability to travel 10%
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
