About the JobWe currently have an exciting opportunity for Brand Strategy Director to join our Marketing team.
This individual will report to the SVP/ Chief Brands Officer and will be responsible for creating and implementing long-range brand marketing strategies for each brand in our portfolio.
You will craft annual narratives, oversee the tracking and maintenance of brand health and sentiment, and liaise with external agencies and partners to drive actionable consumer insights.
In our matrixed environment, you'll need to build strong cross-functional partnerships, have your finger on the pulse of where our brands should look to next to engage with consumers, and be able to credibly present your ideas to executive leadership.
What You'll Do | Key AccountabilitiesOwner of brand positioning and brand standards across the portfolio.
Creates multi-year Brand Strategy across the portfolio that reflects brand health goals, consumer sentiment, and forward-looking market trends.
Develops annual and seasonal brand narratives informed by merchandising strategies, customer behavior insights, and consumer trend. These will be the direction for marketing strategy, creative teams, brand communication, and partnerships throughout the year.
Responsible for overall brand health, maintenance of brand equity with customers, and the creation of initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability of the Tailored Brands portfolio.
Manages customer insights and analysis, including liaising with external research partners to conduct regular fielding of brand perception, consumer behavior, and response to advertising.
Leads the evolution of brand DNA supporting what each brand represents, customer segmentation, and core guidelines.Partners with merchandising and product design to connect product strategies to brand strategies and marketing messaging priorities.
What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in retail and specifically in apparel.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or another related field
Background in working across a portfolio of brands.
Worked on or led brand positioning and brand purpose projects.
Has shown an understanding of synthesizing consumer insights into a multi-year strategy for brand growth.
Ability to partner closely with Design and Merchandising and distill their seasonal priorities into a set of brand priorities that can be used by marketing channel leads.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental DemandsAbility to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a hybrid working arrangement in our Dublin California office or our New York Office.

The starting salary for this position is $122,700 – $180,000 and may increase to $222,400 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors.
We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.Note:
