OverviewDo you thrive on crafting compelling content that engages a target audience? Are you passionate about translating complex topics into clear, concise communication?
Kimley-Horn's Marcom team is seeking a talented Content Strategist to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy focused on Subject Matter Expertise (SME).
This is not a remote position.Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Marcom team lead, firm marketing leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and marketing teams to identify key content themes and topics.
Develop content calendars and editorial plans, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content.
Work closely with SMEs, marketing teams, writers, and designers to create engaging content across various formats (e.g., blog posts, case studies, white papers, infographics).
Analyze content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in content marketing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
3+ years of experience in content strategy, marketing communications, or a related field.
Proven ability to develop and execute content plans aligned with business objectives.
Strong understanding of content marketing best practices, including SEO and content promotion.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
Experience working with SMEs to translate complex technical information into clear and concise communication.
Proficient in content management systems (CMS) and project management tools.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A collaborative spirit and a desire to work cross-functionally.
Experience in the AEC industry, or working for a B2B or professional services organization.
A strong understanding of social media marketing and content promotion strategies.
