Sacred Heart University, CT is seeking for its district church office a:

Deputy Administrative Director (m/f/d):


who represents the administrative management in all areas of leadership and takes on independent tasks in coordination with the administrative management.

In addition, they are a member of the management team.


The district church office is the central administrative office for 28 parishes with approximately 175,000 members as well as for the district church and its institutions.

It provides services in the areas of general administration, personnel administration, construction and property matters, as well as budget and financial matters.

The district church office employs approximately 100 staff members.

This is a full-time permanent position, classified according to pay group 14 BAT-KF.

Filling the position as a church official with a salary according to pay group A 13 BBesO plus a pensionable allowance according to pay group A 14 BBesO is possible.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Constant representation of the administrative management for assigned areas
  • Participation in initiating and implementing projects, as well as structural change processes
  • Continuous, forwardlooking and demandoriented development of departments in terms of breadth
