    Description

    Job Title: Background Investigator

    Company: Constellis

    Location: Bethesda, MD and surrounding areas

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct federal background investigations and prepare detailed reports in compliance with standards and regulations.
    • Travel to different locations for interviews and information gathering.

    Qualifications:

    • H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 1 year of investigations experience at government level.
    • Experience with NBIB/DCSA/FIS.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Active Secret level security clearance or SSBI.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct interviews and gather information.
    • Produce detailed reports based on gathered facts.
    • Develop effective relationships with various organizations.
    • Adapt to changing environments and situations.
    • Strong communication skills.

    Desired Experience and Education:

    • OPM investigator training.
    • Prior experience with government contracts.
    • Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice or related field.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Work mainly conducted in home office and during field visits.
