Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision, function primarilyas a scrub and/or circulating nurse within the Main Operating Room.
Administrative and teaching responsibilities to be performed as necessary,including inventory, instrument set-ups and chart reviews. Implementappropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis, relevant to anoperating room arena. Function as a member of a team. Inherent duties include,but are not limited to, the proper care of instrumentation and equipment,utilization of all safety measures and the accurate completion of alldocumentation

Salary range:
$83.31-$83.31 Hourly

Job Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,current active California RN licensure and clinical skills applicable tonursing specialty, OR.

Writing skills to accurately document the operativeprocedure with all interventions; i.e., drug and supply dispensing, equipmentmeasurements and team member presence.

Skills in setting priorities, organizingworkload effectively and integrating multiple assignments with multilevelpersonnel.

Skill in speaking the English language with excellentmedical/surgical terminology.

Ability to comply with department standardsinclusive of: attendance, dress code and varied work schedule.

Must pass a postoffer physical.

Circulate and scrub experience in an OR required.

Cardiac ORexperience desired.

BSN required.

Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing programmust be provided upon hire
