    Description

    This position is an entry-level Shop Service Tech intern and will be under the direct guidance of an experienced Service Supervisor to receive on-the-job training. The intern's primary purpose is to learn and develop an understanding of the overall Service Department operation.

    • Will attend company-instructed classroom courses as required
    • Complete on-line safety training and attend regular safety meetings
    • Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from Service leadership
    On-the-job training curriculum may include:
    • Perform maintenance on heavy equipment and other equipment as required
    • Help install, repair, and replace mechanical and electronic components on heavy machinery
    • Clean and/or lubricate machines
    • Examine and test equipment, components, and parts to ensure the proper functioning
    • Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts using hand or power tools
    • Adjust, maintain, and repair equipment and machine components
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Candidate must be a current student enrolled in a Skilled/technical program.
    • Must have a valid driver license
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule between Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm.
    • Must maintain a satisfactory attendance to remain in the program.
