Summary:

The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for competitively creating written proposals that demonstrate our unique approach to solving our customers' problems; develop exciting presentation media for our team, and creating, accumulating, and maintaining proposal resource materials.

The position requires an action-oriented team player with excellent communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. It is critical this individual can manage tight deadlines with detailed, complete, and correct information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand customer's proposal requests in the construction industry and assist in formulating responses.
Lead marketing efforts on project pursuit teams, producing materials and coordinating proposal development.
Manage production coordination, document management, and content development for client reports or proposals.
Create and maintain proposal resource materials, including company narratives and project profiles.
Participate in planning and implementing marketing and business development strategies.
Develop, write, edit, and proofread content for various marketing materials.
Apply creativity and strategic insight in strategy development sessions.
Adhere to corporate standards while presenting unique points to stand out from competitors.
Troubleshoot and improve existing business development and proposal processes.
Maintain uptodate project information in the corporate document management system.
Ensure marketing and visual presentation files are uptodate.
Write formal and informal letters.
Develop business through marketing, facilitation, and writing skills, and participate in relevant professional associations.
Manage the design and production process of each pursuit, ensuring quality, scheduling, and ontime delivery.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop bestinclass messages, layouts, and presentations.
Represent the marketing/proposal group as a subject matter expert and share industry best practices.
Assist in planning and executing internal and external events.
Coordinate event sponsorships internally and externally.
Understand and learn the full portfolio of work, practice areas, and firmwide capabilities.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
