Job Title:
Procurement Specialist - Sunrgy Solar Distribution

Location:
Missouri City, Texas

Reports to:
National Purchasing Director

Salary Range: 60k-75k

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other equipment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
Continuously assess supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and ontime delivery.

Procurement Operations:

Execute purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
Collaborate & collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials.

Cost Management:

Analyze pricing trends and market dynamics to identify costsaving opportunities.
Implement costeffective strategies without compromising quality or performance.
Track and report on procurement expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Quality Assurance:

Address any discrepancies or issues related to product quality or performance promptly.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.

Process Improvement:

Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and propose solutions for optimization.
Implement best practices to streamline procurement operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

Proven experience 3 years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the Solar energy industry.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Pay:
$60, $75,000.00 per year
