    Job Description

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

    Must have two years of progressively responsible experience in asset monitoring, tracking, analyzing, reporting and preparing asset management progress and reports.

    Must have experience in analyzing asset management program performance, forecasting, assisting with the development of performance measures, establishing benchmarks and reporting progress and performance.

    Must be of expert level proficiency in the use of FA Suite or a similar enterprise asset management system, have strong verbal and communication skills, the ability to focus on details.

    In lieu of a degree, directly related job experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Additional education could qualify as substitution for years of experience.


    SUMMARY
    Analyzes capital investments, asset acquisitions and manages asset depositions. Assists in decision-making processes related to capital rehabilitation and investment strategies. Conducts market research and assess risk factors.

    Tracks asset and component information in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software (FA Suite) with business partners to optimize asset performance and achieve MARTA's organizational objectives.

    Oversees portfolio management activities; asset valuation, forecasting and strategic investment implementation. Monitors asset performance and prepares reports for executive-level management, directors and managers.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Analyzes financial data to assess the performance of assets for various investment vehicles.
    Assists asset owners with entering and updating asset information within the Enterprise Asset Management software (FA Suite).

    Prepares and distributes detailed reports to Executives, Managers, Planners and others to track asset and component information in the (EAM).

    Maintains accurate and current databases and systems to track asset performance and investment transactions.
    Collaborates with other departments to support investment decision-making processes and achieve organizational goals.
    Provides assistance to Capital Programming via input into Project Origination Checklists (POC) as well as Project Origination Documents (POD).
    Performs other related duties as assigned.


    COMPUTER SKILLS


    Must have high degree of proficiency in FA Suite or a similar enterprise asset management system, PC-based databases and spreadsheet applications.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) certification preferred.

    Salary Range:
    $55,843-$83,765
