**Lab Support

  • PHD Internship**
    This position is a Parttime Nonexempt position located on site in Newark, DE.

Position Summary:

Sepax Technologies, Inc.

is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented student in a Master or PhD program who can assist in the laboratory with day-to-day support in the Technology department.

This individual will be scheduled around their college courses during the business hours of Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

This position is based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware in the Delaware Technology Park.

Our office is near the University of Delaware therefore is an excellent opportunity for a college student looking for industrial experience.


Requirements:


  • A Master or PhD college student enrolled in a science degree program.
  • A chemistry scientific background is preferred.
  • HPLC experience is preferred.
  • Must be independent with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude with ability to work well in a group environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong problemsolving skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the preparation of samples, solutions and/or perform HPLC runs.
  • Support other tasks assigned by the team based on the individual's technical skills.
  • Assist with documentation as needed.
  • Performance of general instrumental maintenance in the laboratories, office/desk space and cleanliness in work areas.
  • Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.
