The Theater for Lower Saxony, also known as tfn, is a multi-genre theater in Hildesheim with a dual function as both a city theater and a state stage.

In its role as a state stage, it performs in approximately 60 cities and municipalities in Lower Saxony and neighboring states.

Each year, around 20 new productions are created, all of which also go on tour:
operas, operettas, dance theater pieces, musicals, plays for adults, as well as productions for children and teenagers.

The musical_company, which has been in existence since 2007, is unique nationwide and makes the musical genre a separate division at tfn.

The tfn_philharmonie regularly performs its own symphony and chamber concerts.

Your responsibilities:

  • Local and regional press work
  • Maintaining and expanding contacts with media representatives, cooperation partners, and multipliers
  • Planning and supervising press events
  • Coordinating external partners for photo and video assignments and supporting them during their work at the theater
  • Managing photos and videos for various purposes and platforms
  • Editing and sending newsletters
  • Managing and monitoring the theater's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) including creating own advertising campaigns
  • Content creation (photo/video) especially
