We are currently looking for you as a career changer for retraining as an upper track welder (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at the locations Regensburg, Nuremberg and Plattling.
What to expect during the retraining:
We will train you to become a certified upper track welder (m/f/d). Previous welding experience is not mandatory, as you will learn this in our courses and trainings.
After your retraining, you will take on the following tasks:
  • You repair damage to rails and switch components, and also straighten heart pieces, wheel carriers, tongues and back rails
  • You will independently carry out arc welding, thermite welding and flame cutting after completing the courses
  • Your work begins and ends at your central base, where you will be provided with all necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments, as well as vehicles
  • You will mainly work outdoors
  • Your high-quality work clothing will also be provided and cleaned
  • You will go through our internal qualification program, attend regular further training
