About the job

The Director for SAS Cloud Delivery Services will lead a highly matrixed organization that is responsible for the timely delivery of all purchased SAS Cloud services. SAS Cloud Delivery includes the installation and configuration of enterprise SAS Software and Solutions into various public clouds and on-premises options as well as the delivery of custom/bespoke additional Cloud configuration services such as data transfer, advanced connectivity, and integrations. The leadership provided by this role ensures customer satisfaction with all cloud deliveries.

As a Director, SAS Cloud Delivery you will:

Report to the Head of SAS Managed Cloud for the Americas

Lead a team of 20+ direct reports and 25+ matrixed resources primarily located in India

Work with the global resource managers and external staffing agencies to ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet delivery deman

Oversee the global Delivery Team to guarantee on-time delivery and real-time tracking of all customer deliveries, from sales to delivery, through successful handoff to operations

Develop and implement a comprehensive delivery strategy, focusing on efficient execution to achieve revenue enablement and meet time-to-value objectives

Formulate and lead a continuous improvement strategy encompassing methodologies, best practices, and technologies to improve time to delivery, reduce cost, and improve overall quality

Enhance the delivery of SAS Software for all customers by spearheading a feedback loop with SAS Product and Technical Support teams, utilizing a data-driven approach to convey insights

Communicate delivery forecast and status to all stakeholders, including members of Executive Leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or related field

Fifteen years of experience in Information Technology

Nine years of experience in a leadership role including five years in a formal management role

Three years leading globally matrixed teams, able to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement across the team

Must be eligible to work in USA. International travel up to 10%

Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
