    Description
    Role: Snowflake Database Developer
    Type: Contract
    Contract Location: NJ (please look for folks from NJ, Manhattan and NYC, NY area who can work onsite)
    Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

    Description:
    • Snowflake DB Developer with expertise in python pandas, Snowpark, snowflake-connect, oracledb, mssql
    • 9+ years of relevant experience and skilled in - Snowflake DB, with hands on exposure to Cloud environment - preferably AWS and expert in Python
    • Very good client handling experience with able to advise for multiple projects.
    • Able to use orchestration tool like Apache Airflow
    • Strong in python including libraries for pandas, boto3, snowpark- is must
    • Experience in Snow SQL, Snow Pipes, Streams, Views, Procedures, performance tuning, CDC and Dynamic Tables.
    • Exposure to Time travel, data movement between Snowflake to other RDBMS and vice versa
    • Experienced in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting
    • Should have knowledge of Real time or Near real time setups using Kafka with Snowpipe
    • Knowledge of DBT is a plus
    • Knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions
    • Good to have python experience with hands-on.
    • Very good SQL expertise in Joins, Analytical functions.
    • Good to have Cloud knowledge on AWS services like S3, Lambda, Athena or Blob
    • Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
    • Candidate should be good in communication and articulation
    Minimum qualifications:
    • Graduate/B Tech/MCA
    • Knowledge/exp. of Banking or Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position
    Preferred qualifications:
    • Snowflake DB Developer
    • 9+ years of relevant experience and skilled in - Snowflake DB, Python with good experience on Python. preferably hands on exposure to Cloud environment - preferably AWS
    • Experience in Snow SQL, Snow Pipes, Streams
    • Exposure to Time travel, data movement between Snowflake to other RDBMS and vice versa
    • Exposure to orchestration using Airflow.
    • Good to have experience in Python programming for ETL.
    • Experienced in SQL performance tuning, analytical functions, joins and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions
