**Retail Construction Project Manager**

at Parachute Home Los Angeles, CA The Retail Construction Project Manager works cross functionally with a range of stakeholders while managing the critical path for Parachutes physical Retail expansion. They will manage remodels, relocations, and the new store development process from pre-construction planning through completion of the project. They are responsible for successfully managing budgets, timelines, and all other deliverables, and for establishing and directing an ongoing store maintenance and facilities program. This position reports directly to the VP, Retail.

**What Youll Do:**

Collaborates with key project stakeholders in the construction and maintenance of our Retail Stores, including Finance, Retail Operations, and our Executive Team.

Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, project scope and change management via weekly progress calls. Ensure timely delivery of weekly reports by GC

Review key lease documents in partnership with VP, Retail

Establish overall project budgets and track all expenditures throughout the project per requirements. Report out weekly to VP, Retail, Finance, and Retail Operations departments for visibility

Review and qualify General Contractor (GC) bid proposals for recommendation to award contract

Track daily process, identify and resolve issues throughout the project

Manage Fixture Vendor to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of OSM per established project schedule

Conduct regular site visits to successfully manage the project schedule, verify construction quality standards are met, and to ensure timely turnover to the Retail Operations team

Review all GC Change Orders and provide recommendation of approval to VP, Retail

Facilitate the timely completion of closeout package submission from the GC, and provide the required documents to Finance and Retail Operations teams

Follow all Company policies and procedures

**Who You Are:**

7-10 years of Construction Management experience, preferably within the Retail industry

Understanding of key lease documents and Landlord Work Letter exhibits

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and a demonstrated understanding of computer systems and software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Google Suite, Plangrid, reviewing architectural drawings, other tools and systems TBD

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels

Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining levels of efficiency, organization, time management and attention to detail

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently

Ability to travel up to 50-75% of time

Position is based in our Culver City, CA HQ. Open to other locations per candidate qualifications
