These tasks will motivate you:

- leading, motivating, and developing local purchasing employees
- close collaboration with plant functions, plant management, and global purchasing function
- purchasing representative and point of contact for purchasing matters at the plant
- regional implementation of purchasing and commodity group strategies, as well as purchasing processes
- support in contract and price negotiations for the location
- improving purchasing prices and conditions
- identifying new cost-saving potentials and implementing initiated cost-saving projects
- reporting
- ensuring material supply
- immediate point of contact in case of supply shortages, including taking necessary measures and escalation management with suppliers
- support and local point of contact for project launches
- continuous evaluation of local supplier base
- initiating localization projects and proactively identifying market and supply risks
- ensuring compliance with purchasing policies
- monitoring and continuously improving local purchasing processes


Good prerequisites for your success:

- successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or similar
