How would you like to work in the beautiful and vibrant Town of Ocean City, Maryland? This position serves as the Ambassador to City Hall and the Town in general by proving a high level of customer service to visitors, guests and fellow employees.
In addition to managing the reception area of City Hall, this position sorts and routes mail, creates and issues a variety of i.d.
badges, passes, and permits, books meetings and reserves conferences rooms using Outlook and provides a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks for colleagues throughout the Town.
While many assignments are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures, a high level of discretion and independent judgement is required to problem solve, prioritize tasks and de-escalate potential issues and complaints.
Experience with Microsoft Office is required (i.e., Outlook, Word and Excel) as well as a high school diploma with at least two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are a must. If not current notary, must acquire within 6 months. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
