Job Title:
Evening Social Attendant


Reports To:
F&B Manager or General Manager or Front Desk/Operations Manager


Position Summary:

Service of Food and Beverage to guests.


Responsibilities:


  • Making sure that the service area including counters, floors, BOH, and seating/eating areas
  • Ensuring that entry doors are hygienic free from debris and welcoming.
  • Making and preparing breakfast or reception items including coffee and beverages
  • Checking with the manager to familiarize with any meeting events
  • Checking the kitchen to ensure that everything is in place.
  • Helping keep inventories and putting away orders
  • Keeping an eye on the dining room, bathrooms, entryway, and ensuring that cleanliness is maintained in all operations.
  • Greeting guests politely and keeping seats clean for them and ensuring that they are comfortable.
  • Making sure the guests are seated and well served.
  • Saying goodbye to guests and enquiring from them about the quality of services provided at the hotel. This also involves checking with the guests to record any problem experienced. Reporting to the supervisor.
  • In some establishments the hostess acts as the cashier as the F&B operations expand.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma

Physical Demands

  • Must work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
  • Must be able to lift over 40 pounds on an intermittent basis.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.

Work Environment

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay:
$ $16.00 per hour
