    As a Seasonal, Full-Time Assistant Manager you will oversee the operations of the reception area and manage the Front Desk Associates. You will have the responsibility of being the lead role our customers engage with as they come into our clubhouse, pools, and fitness center. The primary goal for you and the Front Desk Team to ensure that our members, guests and renters have the optimal experience by greeting, engaging and thanking all looking for help and services we can provide. The same is true for new homeowners as they seek to get acclimated and integrated into our community. All of this should equate to the superior customer experience we strive for.

    · The front desk is a busy place encompassing greeting and helping all as well as:

    o Answering phones in a timely manner.

    o Registering guests and assuring cardholders swipe scanner before entering our broader amenities.

    o Managing vender interactions and service outcomes.

    o This is a multitasking role requiring "multiple hats" to prioritize and work with Front Desk Associates and their responsibilities. Customer satisfaction is the key outcome we seek.

    Detailed Responsibilities

    o Work directly with Clubhouse Management

    o Welcome members and guests into clubhouse – "Greet-Engage-Thank"

    o Provide assistance in answering customer questions and needs

    o Manage Front Desk Associates activities and their assignments

    § Provide proper training for the team to ensure they perform their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.

    § Conduct weekly staff meetings to review and update front desk activities and policies

    o Coordinate front desk coverage to provide full availability of our services for all hours that the clubhouse is open.

    § Maintain proper appearance and upkeep of the reception area.

    § Assure all entering swipe their member cards or manually enter their id numbers. For pool access, verify they have our wristbands or temporary wristbands on before entering.

    § Process guest registrations and passes

    § Manage Coffee Bar upkeep and supplies

    o Work with Food and Beverage to assure optimal communication of bar and restaurant hours and menu updates.

    o Support the associates and management team with general maintenance and operation of the facilities.

    Additionally, specific responsibilities of the Assistant Manager include:

    o Establish and maintain "leadership presence" by supporting Associates when dealing with members and guests at desk, around pool property and in fitness center

    o Process long term rental paperwork, resales, cards, and fobs

    o Work closely with vendors to see that all work needed is done in timely manner and within budget guidance from club management

    o Oversee and self-test pool chemicals to see that correct levels are maintained

    o Work with the lifeguard team during summer season to see that member and guest safety is the priority at all times.

    Finally the Assistant Manager role, along with those of the Associates and Management, is to provide the level of "best in class" service and support our community and guests expect.

    Requirements:
    • Evening, weekend and holiday work hours are required

    *this is a seasonal, full-time role for the 2024 summer season
