    Position Summary Information
    Summary

    Coordinate the successful completion of key deliverables as outlined in the Substance Use Deflection Initiative project in the Criminal Justice Coordinating Center of Excellence (CJ CCoE) within the Department of Psychiatry.

    Position responsibilities include programmatic and administrative duties.

    Principal Functional Responsibilities
    1.


    Coordination:
    Coordinate, promote, and support key initiatives and program development activities for Ohio substance use deflection initiatives. Coordinate day-to-day operations of the deflection project; Assist in devising statewide program development plans for Ohio


    QRT
    and other deflection programs; collate statewide plan and progress reports. Provide qualitative progress reports and work closely with evaluation and research staff on quantitative reports. Coordinate Project ECHO for Ohio Quick Response Teams and similar deflection programs.

    • Communication with key partners, consultants, sub-contractors, and staff:
    Work closely with evaluation and research staff on maintaining accurate records of all aspects of the project, including expenses,


    QRT
    and other deflection program data, and progress of all deliverables.

    Work closely with key internal staff and external partners to ensure development and dissemination of regional and statewide training materials, best practice resources and other tools.

    Maintain clear lines of communication with sub-contracting entities, consultants, and community partners to ensure adequate progress toward project goals. Respond to and assign external and staff consultants to meet technical assistance needs. Serve as liaison between program(s) and constituents as directed.

    Advancing Key Deliverables:


    Assist the Director of Substance Use Deflection Initiatives in outlining key program initiatives and forecasting for project expenses as needed.

    Ensure the design, coordination, maintenance and delivery of technical assistance activities, resources, and materials. Assist with promotional activities. Travel as needed to participate and provide coordination of committees, meetings, site visits, program inventory and quality improvement efforts.

    Qualifications

    Education/Degrees:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of 2-year degree and experience required; preferably in public health, healthcare, business administration/ management or related fields.


    Experience:

    Minimum of two to four years of related work experience in project coordination or delivery, especially substance use or criminal justice-mental health partnerships, public health initiatives or other cross-system health collaboration programs.

    Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite – required.
