- Directly responsible for leading and managing crews that consist of foremans, lead electricians, electricians, journeyman, apprentices and/or laborers.
- Creates plan for work project and ensures materials, tools, equipment, etc. are scheduled in a timely manner to meet the scope, budget, and project construction schedule.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure project is being completed as per the plans and specifications.
- Supervise and oversee all field activities and employees ensuring company standards across all services are being provided.
- Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments in the project and scope of work.
- Turn over all changes in scope and additions in scope to estimator for pricing before work proceeds.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owner, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or installment problems.
- Prepare production schedules and work orders for all projects
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and demands
- Review budget estimates, and cost tracking reports on a monthly basis
- Prepare and submit progress reports for each project monthly
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with housing and safety codes or other regulations.
- Ensure all projects are meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Performs annual performance evaluations for field personnel.
