    Description


    AP Professionals is partnering with a local well established company that has been in business for decades in search of a Quality Control Manager.

    The Quality Control Manager will oversee and lead the team and facilities supporting metal finishing processes, ensuring compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and Nadcap quality management systems.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Oversee all quality functions, including incoming materials and finished products.
    Conduct quality and safety training for new employees.
    Ensure laboratory compliance with daily operational processes.
    Support internal and external regulatory audits.
    Manage waste stream handling and disposition.
    Supervise regulatory compliance testing.
    Oversee quality system performance metrics.
    Maintain process integrity, collect business data, and report to senior management.
    Lead NADCAP certification expansion for all processes.
    Collaborate with customers on NCR (Non-Conformance Report) issues.
    Work with Operations to resolve non-conformances and implement continuous improvement solutions.


    EDUCATION
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related scientific field required.


    EXPERIENCE
    Leadership experience is advantageous.
    Experience in metal finishing is preferred.
    Familiarity with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and Nadcap standards.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
