Description

The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work with us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

Faster. More robust. More environmentally friendly. That is our goal for the expansion of the railway line between Gelnhausen and Fulda. We are looking for dedicated and motivated colleagues to plan one of the most important infrastructure projects in Germany.

Together with us, you will set the course for a new infrastructure between Hanau and Fulda, one of the busiest railway sections in Germany, in the early stages of the project.

This includes expanding the section and building new tracks, making the line continuously four-track. This will create significantly more capacity for rail traffic and optimize travel time for passengers. In addition, we will construct engineering structures such as noise barriers and traffic stations.

We will also carry out comprehensive renovations of the electrical energy systems, overhead lines, track structures, cable trenches, and telecommunications, and install a modern electronic interlocking system (ESTW).

As a sub-project manager, you will be responsible for the Gelnhausen - Wirtheim section. Together with your team, you will manage the planning of the individual trades through the performance phases
