At Sage Bionetworks, we believe that we can learn more by engaging and collaborating with people from a diversity of experiences, backgrounds and identities.

We develop and apply open practices to data-driven research for the advancement of human health. We are working to establish actionable biomedical observations through the reliable analysis and responsible sharing of representative data.

    What youll be doing:
This position will engage with project team leads, internal and external project team members, and stakeholders to support the execution of collaborative, community-focused data coordination projects through the following:

Support the development, implementation, and execution of project plans, designing and leveraging agility in project management approaches and related tools to achieve project objectives.

Develop, deploy, and maintain project management tools and task-tracking solutions (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira) to monitor and support completion of project objectives and timelines, tracking progress to established milestones and deliverables, navigating changes in timelines, resolving or escalating issues, as needed, to ensure timely delivery, and ensuring transparency and alignment among project team members and stakeholders.

Support reporting requirements on project status, progress to deliverables, changes, and key outcomes.

Reporting requirements and format may vary depending on the stakeholder audience, and may include formalized progress reports to funders, presentations to steering/advisory committees, among other formats.

Develop and maintain project-related documentation and community resources, supporting drafting, versioning, and implementation of internal-facing and external-facing resources (e.g., SOPs, Help Docs, FAQs).

Work with project team members to develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and/or tutorials for identified community user groups.

Support facilitation of team meetings, including scheduling, setting agendas, running meetings, taking and distributing minutes, and assigning and following-up on action items.

Support the development and implementation of a communications plan to manage and support communications among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective engagement, inclusivity, and alignment among project stakeholders.

Manage access and user permissions to project and community-related resources, data management and storage infrastructure, and related content, ensuring compliance with applicable agreements, data privacy, and security regulations.

Represent Sage Bionetworks in outreach activities, including representation at project-related face-to-face meetings, scientific conferences, and/or user workshops.
Wed like to hear from you if you have:

A Bachelors degree or higher in a scientific field (e.g., public health, library science, information management, biomedical informatics, epidemiology).
At least 4 years of experience managing projects or programs in a matrix organizational structure.
Experience managing the execution of collaborative scientific or software projects.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience communicating with technical experts at various levels. Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.
Proficiency in project management and experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project).
