The Law Intern program at the University of Georgia School of Law Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic is a client services, research, and community outreach position. Interns will be involved with all parts of the protective order process from intake/client screening to final court hearings.
Interns will also support the Clinic Director in all aspects of Clinic work including providing advice and referrals, collaboration with community service partners, and community outreach.
Eligible students can be certified under the Student Practice Act to represent clients in court under the supervision of the Clinic Director.
A background investigation will be expected as part of the hiring process.Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
