    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

    We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Paraprofessionals for the uping full school year.

    As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in various special education settings, including Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental and Cognitive Delays (DCD), Adaptive Behavior Skills (ABS), and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD).

    This is a full-time position with flexible caseload options available for K-12 students.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide oneonone and group support to students with diverse needs.
    • Assist students with classroom tasks, assignments, and activities under the guidance of the lead teacher.
    • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed.
    • Collaborate with the teaching team to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
    • Support students in developing social, academic, and life skills.
    • Help manage classroom behavior and provide emotional support to students.
    • Assist with personal care needs, if required.
    • Participate in professional development and training sessions.

    Educational Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with diverse student populations.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and assisting with mobility.
    • Proficiency in using work devices and handling classroom materials.
    • Data entry and recordkeeping skills.
    • Ability to perform people functions, including providing emotional support to students.

    Working with Various Caseload Options:

    • Choose from a range of caseload options spanning K-12 students.
    • Gain experience working with students across different special education settings.
