    Description


    The Risk Analyst will collaborate with the Risk Team to ensure all company functions are supported to the highest level.

    The primary responsibilities of this role will be managing the daily reporting and monitoring of risk metrics and limits across all company divisions and product lines.

    This role will also conduct analyses focused on compliance with risk management policy, ad hoc risk modeling and measurement, and report building and maintenance to provide greater insight to market and operational risks across the organization.

    Support the Risk Team in all daily tasks including commodity risk monitoring, review, and report distribution Maintain and develop the company commodity limit structure including daily limit monitoring and communicationsOwn all data flows, jobs, and mappings from multiple systems to our risk management tool Construct and maintain meaningful risk reports and dashboards that drive insight to specific businesses and/or product linesAnalyze the firm's market position applying complex modeling techniques to find value at risk (VaR) measurements Monitor compliance with the company's Risk Management policyAd-hoc financial risk modeling and measurement as needed to support managementAssist in development and implementation of new risk tools and measurement techniques Conduct market and operational risk analyses, identifying economical and financial trends creating risks for the companyRetain proper documentation for auditsContinuous process improvement to ensure team efficiencyAbout You Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or AccountingMinimum 1 to 4 years Finance experience Self-starter with willingness to take initiative and follow through on projectsStrong quantitative and analytical skills with an attention to detailCritical thinking skills and the ability to research and solve problemsProficiency with Excel, BI tools, and SQL Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide effective customer service to various levels of individuals and teams General knowledge and understanding of commodity, financial, or forex markets including options, trading, hedging, mark to market, and value at riskAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, proven problem solver, leadership and interpersonal skills and be a proven team player, who is highly organized and achievement orientedWe encourage all candidates who are enthusiastic about his opportunity and believe they can contribute to our team's success to apply, regardless of whether you meet every qualification.
